Adobe Bridge Lands a New Flash Gallery Program
A couple of days ago Adobe announced the Adobe Media Gallery Engine, a way for you to be able to create Flash and HTML slideshows of images on your website. You can get more information on this update on the Adobe Labs site.
I wound up updating my Bridge and installed the AMG, and I was left with a feeling of “ehhh.. ” Didn’t really know what to expect from this, but I wasn’t blown away.
It would seem as Adobe was already one step ahead of me, however. A couple of days later, John Nack – Senior Product manager for Photoshop posted on his website that Adobe’s customer research team will be promoting a contest (of sorts). Send them a SWF, get a chance to win 50 bucks. I happen to think its cool that they are going back to the community to find out what kinds of things people are interested in, and are looking for ways to help out in this arena.
You can read more information about this here.
Happy Monday everyone!
