Correction noted!  B&amp;H has the 40D with a 17-85 IS for 1800, and the 28-135 for 1500.  Not closing the price gap at all... it still hurts that the D300 is close to 1800 body only.  Add to that the grip for 200 and change, and you&#039;re well over 2K without a lens..   

You probably cant see it, but Im seriously sneering at my D300 on my desk now...  Thanks for the correction, and the comment. :)</description>
