I like this a lot, but what happens when there are multiple timelines in several movie clips? And what if the animation doesn't start in the very first frame of the timeline? How do I execute my instance naming process for animations that don't start in the very first frame of the timeline?

Forgive me, but I'm new to this.

thx

re: christian

This does not have to be the form of the final output of the Flash movie. It is just so developers and designers can talk the same language.

In practice, this XML would be better used in an external file, and loaded. Then the XML could be loaded by a coder's program, adjusted, saved, and used by the original Flash movie.

later,
Neal.
