It cracked me up that you went out to the Behr color site for inspiration on this week’s Layers TV.

As far back as 2005, when I started teaching color theory in junior college, I’ve been referring students to paint companies’ color sites.

Back then, because of the limitations with Rich Apps and internet speeds, the most they could do was try to teach people about the “standard” color wheel and color combinations.

But, I thought it was funny that you consider using those sites as a kind of “cheap shortcut”, when us designers have been using paint companies, their sites, AND their printed literature for years!

Keep up the good work, man.
