I’m new with illustrator. Though this tutorial seems as a product of years of experience. I just got amazed by watching these lessons.
I would like to thank you all who are concerned with these services.

Nice tutorial, on http://myphotoshopbrushes.com/brushes/id/245 you can find Blend Brushes made using this technic.
Comment by myPhotoshopBrushes | February 7, 2009 @ 10:21 am
Why don’t you leave the pasted AI graphic in vectors? Convert it in a smart object and you can make nearly all the things, you’ve done with it. The difference is, that with a smart object you can change the shape in AI everytime.
Rendering the layer is also always possible but with a duplicate, okay?
Cheers.

Sounds weird, but whenever I try to copy and paste my line disappears. I recently bought CS4 so maybe that’s the issue. I’m a bit new to Illustrator, too. If anyone can shed light on the issue that would be great!

Just have a little problem, i got it working the first time but everytime i pick the option “paste infront”, all it does is create a small line..not a direct copy of the first shape i made with the pen tool.
Does anyone know this issue??

Hey, thanx for the tutorial!
One question, do both paths have to be on the same layer? The blend effect is different when they aren’t, why?
Comment by Jack | April 27, 2009 @ 9:22 pm
wow, I’ve been wondering how to get this effect,
thanx for sharing it with us Matt

Ok, I like the tutorial, except I’m getting pretty frustrated because I don’t have the same tool boxes you do to complete the directions you’re giving here. I have never worked with Illustrator before, and so I have no idea how to get the tool boxes to show here! Any help would be nice…thanks!
