Very useful tutorial!
Is there also a way to make a gradient follow the shape of text? For example a letter S with the gradient bending in an s-shape?

This was so awesome. You do a very good job at making things plain. Do you have a book published? Also, do you have a tutorial on blending photographs in this same way using Illustrator CS3, or do I have to use photoshop for this?
