RC introduces ‘everyday design’, a segment in which he breaks down how he would go about designing a random graphic element from everyday life. This week he is inspired by a can of oatmeal. Follow RC’s workflow as he locates a specific font, finds stock images, and combines those elements in Photoshop with strokes, layer masks, fill opacity, and eventually uses smart objects and the 3D tools inside Photoshop CS4 Extended. Corey has a tutorial about transferring settings from one Wacom tablet to another.
