I tried as above, but I don’t have ‘Windows Paths’ on my Adobe Photoshop (limited edition – came with old PageMaker I think) but I do need to make my own SIMPLE text wrap path around maps in InDesign. It was SO EASY in PageMaker – I wish I hadn’t had to up(!)grade to use new printer, but with InDesign I can only find clipping paths with too many points, that it is impossible to reshape the text wrap path so I don’t get text between islands or to move the border a different distance from coast in some places. Help!

When I place the file as an EPS in InDesign do I just go to Object > Clipping Path to delete the background?
