Congressmen Liquify, John Mayer Shoots, Kuler News, and a 4 Year Old Rocks Out!

Happy Wednesday everyone! Here’s what we got for you today:
A local congressman gets busted for putting his head on a slimmer body.. Click here to read the article on CNN.com. Now, being a Photoshop person, I have developed a sense of what I would do, and wouldn’t do to a picture. That, however, goes completely out the window when it comes to my own. Let’s just say that the hair gods have not been very nice to me these past few years. I dont think I’ve ever put myself on someone else’s body – except one time.. it was Antonio Banderas.. and it was for Halloween.. for dramatic effect.. you wouldn’t understand. Have you ever altered your shots for pure vanity? Come on.. fess up!
Lithoglyph just finished releasing a Kuler app for OSX Leopard that lets you play around with a picker in Photoshop. They’re promsing a Tiger release as well.. so let’s keep our fingers crossed there. The app is called CocoaKuler – but the name is supposed to be changing pretty soon.
On a somewhat random note, I wound up stumbling onto the Stunning Nikon website. People have posted Photo Blogs there and the one blog that caught my eye was John Mayer. While many would know him from radio-centric hits like “Why Georgia” – he is an amazing Blues guitarist. While others may know him as a musician, you can now know him as a Photographer. He’s got some cool stuff – so I sent a note to say hello. Maybe we can convince him to submit projects to the Strobist site – that place is jumping with stuff.. and making me itch to get some shots out there..
And while I am at it. This is one of my new favorites up at YouTube: A 4 year old rocks it out singing the John Mayer cover of Route 66. He’s totally into the song, and does a great job of getting close to the song.
