Create Mystery Text in After Effects & a Photo Walk Update
An Update on the Worldwide Photo Walk
Things are going full speed ahead on the second annual Scott Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk, scheduled for July 18, 2009. This new Photo walk is smashing the previous years with over twice the amount of cities involved. We now have over 7,000 participants in over 500 walks scheduled around the world. Just absolutely amazing. So much so, our Social Media Ninja Nancy Masse has submitted the Photo Walk to be a part of the Guiness Book of World Records! If anything comes of that, i’ll totally let you know. My photo walk in Dunedin Florida has only 9 spots left, so if you’re in the area, make sure that you sign up!
There are a few things i’d like you to do if you can:
1. If you participated on the last Photo Walk, send a quick message to Brad Moore, our Photo Walk coordinator at photowalk@kelbymediagroup.com. We’d love to hear your stories about the walk and share them with the walking public. Also make sure you keep tabs on his Worldwide Photo Walk blog for updates.
2. If you are on Twitter, send this message out for us: “@AplusK – Are you participating in @ScottKelby’s Worldwide PhotoWalk? #SKphoto http://worldwidephotowalk.com/”
The idea here is this: how cool would it be to have Ashton Kutcher get 50 people on his neck of the woods and go out and do a photo walk. I mean.. he’s even a spokesperson for Nikon. That would rock. If you want to catch me on twitter, you can Follow Me on Twitter here!
3. Check out the blog post for Jeff Revell at the Photo Walk Pro: Jeff’s a really good resource for all things Photo Walking (as well as cool photography stuff, and author of Canon 50D – From Snapshots to Great Shots. You’ll learn a lot there.
