Creating a Background in Photoshop, Part 2
Continuing with part 2 of this tutorial, expand the canvas of the newly-created background image to create room for some border effects. Then isolate a silhouette using the channels palette and bring that into the image. Finally, add some text to finish the design off.

Really getting into this but unfortunately halfway through the tutorial the player resorts to the advert for the mag so have not seen how to finish it.

Great tutorial!
But most of all, you explained very well, so that you can understand easily. Also it’s the first time iv’e heard anybody say “ctrl or command”, otherwise it’s either of them.
