I had an epiphany moment and finally “get” the difference between when you use a clipping mask and when you use an opacity mask. It’s always sort of eluded me. Thanks!

Hello,
I love these tutorials, but how can I get them in a printable format? I use them as supplements to classes.

For a simpler beginners guide – there is a clipping mask tutorial here http://www.melsbrushes.co.uk/?p=593 which I found helpful – this video was a bit beyond me!

Corey, Thank you x 3~4…! I’m an (old) newbie to Illy, (prepress), and Opacity Masks eluded me until I found your Tute.
Much clearer than some of the others I’ve tripped over, including those on the site of a large, well-known graphics software company, down San Jose-way.
Bookmarked!
