Just drag the layer from one doc to another is much more simple. This is not a “Killer-Tip”.

Useful, but misleading title. I came here hoping to find out how to DRAG objects between documents, which is difficult when Photoshop in in tabbed mode. Right now, I have to drag the window out of tabbed mode, and then drag.
The expected behavior is that you should be able to draq the object to the desination document’s tab and hold, which should activate the destination document and let you complete the drag.
