Thanks for the CS4 goodness – after completing the tutorial, previewing the file from Flash works fine, and opening the swf in flash player works fine. Yet, when I place the swf on my page in Dreamweaver it doesn’t play. the mp3 file is in the same folder as the swf (and the fla file), the buttons seem to be active, but nothing plays? Whaddai do wrong?

Check your DW site and see if you have a scripts folder. If there is no Run_AC_Content or something like that, Flash isn’t being seen.
If you do, you might want to check your Flash publish settings to ensure there are no path issues.
