flow_logoGridiron Software Stars Flow Beta
This was a cool Wed find for me. Looks like Gridiron Software just announced a public beta of Flow – a really neat piece of software used to visualize the relationships of all of your assets in a creative project. I like the public beta version of software as it lets you kick the tires on the software and see how something like this could fit into your workflow.

According to Gridiron Software: “Flow is the world’s first Visual Workflow Manager, built from the ground up to keep creative professionals streamlined and informed. Flow gives you a total understanding of your project, visually and intuitively. In one simple interface, you’ll see all your project files, how they’re related to each other, and where they’re located—on a local drive, on a network volume, even on a DVD you burned a few months ago.

I’ve GOT to get me a Portercase
Coming back from Mammoth, CA this past week I had something happen to me. There I was, computer in tow dangling precariously on my rolling case, and I was hustling across LAX. I try to do a good deed for someone and deviate from my route. Just as I am doing this, I think my bag’s about to fall and i turn to get it – and pinched a nerve in my back. Yeah, not fun… so I was in real pain.. for 5 hours of a layover, then 5 hours of a flight.

This always seems to happen to me when I am going on the road. Computer Bag/Laptop Bag/Suitcase – that’s three bags when I want to carry two. Enter something like Porter Case. Here you have a rolling case where you can store all of your stuff, AND you can stack up to 100lbs of other luggage ON TOP OF IT!

It’s hard to kinda visualize this on their website to be honest.. it kinda just looks like cases. The video totally helps you put it in perspective.

Now, here’s the cool part. If you are a NAPP member, Porter Case is giving a 20% discount and free shipping on their Porter Case PC II CMCS-L. Click on the link here for more Info:
