hello. this is the font used by GQ UK edition. Can you please tell me what font this is and where can I get it?

also it would be nice to get a new forum under 'Macromedia Freehand'

looks like the AutoCAD default font to me.

Auto CAD default fonts are designed as monospaced fonts, which the sample, as you can see, is not. Although it does have that Auto CAD look and feel. As far as I know, Auto CAD default fonts are made to print to a plotter. They can be converted to outline when exporting an auto cad file as an AI EPS, but they cannot be used directly in a magazine design. parambyte may have already run his sample through myfonts.com and got some matches.

hey thanks for your help/. from myfonts.com, i found this is close to CAMonodon-Regular, though not the same. i will post in their forums as well.

The type ID board over at typophile.com is also pretty incredible. Those guys are sharp - and fast…
