flash problems w/ int. explorer

I am just learning how to use Flash. In my class we are posting our homework on a Flash site we are building. I cannot get my pages to open in internet explorer, (other students can) but the site works on other browsers. I get a message that internet explorer doesn't know how to handle this type of file.

I have downloaded all new versions of IE, shockwave, flash player.

Not real sure what to tell you about this IE problem. I personally do not like IE. First I would see if any of your other fellow students can open your flash file on there computer. This will tell you for sure if it is an IE problem or just a problem that is related to your computer.

Other than that I would consider switching browsers. Firefox is a great browser for Windows. I love it. Give it a try if you haven't already.
