IE bugs

I am very frustrated! I put together a CSS page and got it looking close to what I wanted. It looked great in Safari. Being new to CSS I wasn't aware of the IE bugs that existed apparantly so prevalently in IE. I have read through some of the web sites that deal with these bugs, but I am not sure the kind of bug I am dealing with.


Again, it tests fine in Safari and Firefox, but in IE (5.2 Mac and 6 on a PC) the middle and right cols drop down. Can anybody tell me what kind of bug this is and what's the fix. I know this isn't just a GoLive thing, but I am not sure where else to turn.

Thanks again Phenn for your advice. I really couldn't find the bug, so I kind of started over and what I realized is how important the DOCTYPE is. When I changed that everything seemed to work correctly. Anyway, thanks again! :)
