I know this is not really about digital photography, it's more related to scanning, but this is the only place I can see to post this. Has anyone tried the new Multi Exposure function in SilverFast 6.5 scanning software? I know they have digital camera software for RAW as well but this is about the scanning part. I have a Minolta 5400 ii and read on Lasersoft's site about how this can really increase the dynamic range of a scanner.

If you have tried it or know anything about it, please post info. Thanks

Darren

I've been using SF for a year, love the multi-sampling, it really reduces noise.
I've just known from your post about this new feature. After reading it, I'm sure
it's like having Photoshop CS2's HDR in scanning driver. Very interesting but
now I'm 980 km. away from my old Umax PowerLook 3000, couldn't try it.
(Oops, mine is not supported, yet ?) :(

Some info about Photoshop's HDR, in case you don't know it:
