Australia Rock is the shape of a hole, caused by ships ropes when anchoring and tying to shore to stop the ship turning in the ocean swell, in the early 1900 and before the entrance was built. Now a local land mark......
Australia Rock-Narooma NSW, about 5 hours south from Sydney.....

Nice shot - what camera did you use?
The lens flare looks a little fake but could be it just shot this way. I am speaking specifically about the spikes. They look awfully even to me.
I could be wrong - I have been once or twice…:D

I like the shot although it's just a bit too contrived for my taste, but just a little, for the most part it's nice. I always feel photos are a bit too contrived when I see a shot of the sun falling perfectly into some object, like the sun falling into a wine glass during a sunset. I'm more interested with the atmospheric effects of the clouds being lit with color, rather than a perfect ball landing into a perfect position. But bigpix does take some pretty nice shots. What is ACR?

cool. I don't have as nice a camera as yours, but I've been mucking around with RAW photos and posting in the lounge and I'm really liking the whole camera raw thing.

camera RAW is the way to go for great quality....... I have been playing with panoramas and photomerge in CS3 and I am finding this a great tool.......
