Eliminating 2nd page??

I have one InDesign doc, and one-page thing, but the document is actually two pages. I've looked everywhere, but can't figure out how to eliminate the 2nd blank page which is attached to it. I don't know how this got set up in the first place!

When you created your new document, and if you choose the defaults, you ended up with a "facing pages" doc with a one page document.
From what you are saying, it seems that you are working on one of the master page and not on the document page.
If I'm wrong, and if you have a two pages document, you can delete the page you want by selecting it in the pages palette, go to the pull-down menu and choose "delete spread".
