Don't know if I can start at this level but I try.
First I love the new features in CS3… but still trying to figure out if Abobe has beta tested in practical workflows. Why? Well, camara raw 'developing' in Bridge is really cool, great way to touch up the photos, now that it handles .jpg n .tif especially as a setting can be applied directly in Bridge…or can it? Dragging the photo to InDesign the XMP adjustment is lost , if bridge can use the XMP to give me a preview why can't InDesign? Wouldn't it be great if I could use the camera raw development in InDesign, as in Bridge…I mean that's when I see the picture in it's context.
So how did they think we wanted to work? Apply tweaks in Bridge just to loose it? There is no simple way to apply the tweak or is there? Please I'm lost.

After you've applied your "tweaks" in Bridge, click on the Open button and Photoshop will open the file with said "tweaks" in place. Then save as a Photoshop file (or a tif if you must) and you're ready to go.

If you open in Photoshop you can even open as a smartobject…
What I am after is a flow that works…yes your soloution works…but doesn't flow… I guess I am trying to lobby for Adobe to include the "smart objects" when placing from bridge to indesign.
Also I don't like the idea that the bridge shows what a picture "could be" if opened in photoshop and resaved. If I find a picture I like in bridge and want to use it in a layout I want it as I see it…this is a step in the wrong direction for WYSIWYG, a concept we are getting so used to we almost never see the acronym anymore ;)
