Word doc placed in InDesign

Does anyone know how to get rid of these annoying black boxes that indesign creates from word's "web links"? the only way I have found is to completely delete the word and retype the email address, which if I can avoid, I would be grateful.

Hi triple one,

I seem to remember getting rid of this in the Hyperlinks pallete (Window >Interaqctive > Hyperlinks). Just select the listing and delete it.

They are surely annoying but they don't print and neither do you "see" them when exported to PDF.
