Tables in Illustrator

Using inDesign you can use tables to format text. Am I able to do the same thing in Illustrator?

Hi Cameron,

If you drag out a Text Frame with your Type tool, then go to your Type menu > Area Type Options, you can set up a simple grid of Columns and Rows. You can even control how your text flows from grid to grid (across rows or down columns).

But if you need something more than this, create your Table in InDesign, save it as an Acrobat and Place it in Illustrator.
