If anyone has the Epson P-2000 Multimedia Storage Viewer (which is awesome by the way), I have a question. Once your photos are stored in albums, is there a way to sort their order? The reason I'm asking is, I've put my portfolio in there for a slide show, but I can't figure out how to get the images to show up in the order I want them.
Any help would be great appreciated. :)

 I just had to try this question, but honestly its more of a 'stab at it' - I know its easy to sort your albums by name (its within the menu) but I wasn't able to easily find the info on sorting your images within albums, I would probably just use the image names for this purpose as well. (ie. name your images in a sequence of numbers etc)

I thought I might be faced with that, but I thought at least I'd ask. Hey, since you have a P-2000, I have another question: I downloaded the latest Firmware update, and according to the instructions you load the software on a blank memory card (which I did), leave the unit off, insert the card, then hold the OK button down, then turn on the unit. This should bring up a "Firmware" screen, which they picture in the firmware download manual. I've done this a dozen times, but I never get that screen. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Scott

I've been coveting one of these, so since I don't have one I checked out the FAQs on the Epson site and found something that might be related to your question:
Q: The display order of my thumbnail images changed after I upgraded the P-2000’s firmware from 01.01 to 02.02. How does the new firmware change the way my thumbnail images are displayed?
A: If your P-2000 has firmware 02.02, the images are displayed in chronological order, from oldest to newest, determined by the date and time that the images were created or modified.
If your P-2000 has firmware 01.01, the display order varies depending on how the files were copied to the memory card. If the images were copied from a computer, the display order will match the sort order that the computer used (by Name, Size, Type, Date Modified, etc). If the images were copied directly from a digital camera, they will be displayed in the order the pictures were taken.

Hope that is helpful in some way.
