Hi krislee,

You can export to JPEG by going to File > Export, and choosing JPEG for Format. Then press Save and in the window that opens choose the pages to Export, your settings for Quality, Resolution, and press Export.

Hope this helps!

You can also select individual objects and export>jpg and it will export all those objects to jpg format.

Depending on your transparency settings you can force underlying art to be rasterised by placing a virtually transparent object over it to force the built in flattener to deal with it.
