Hi,
I have just started learning Photoshop over the last month or so.
I'm in the market for a new Mac powerbook but I'm unsure whether it would really be practical for me to work with Photoshop on a laptop. My main concerns are:
1) Screen quality.
2) Connecting a scanner and mouse to a laptop
3) Would I have enough memory? Any recommendations on configuration?
Your advice, opinions and patience are all appreciated.
Thanks,
Wayne

Selam,
Turkey, name, cafer
Well... how about that ! I feel exactly the same ! ;)
Just joking, Kaleduvari, it would have been nice to know your comments on this.

Although I personally don't own a modern laptop and if I had to replace my current desktop with a powerbook it would have to be Apple's 15 inch powerbook. (http://www.apple.com/powerbook/index15.html)
I have been using PS for almost 12 years and have always been behind the powercurve from a hardware aspect but there is no doubt whatsoever this particular powerbook can take anything I could throw at it for years to come.
This machine can accomodate mice, scanners, tablets, external hard drives and monitors. It comes with a dynamite video card with 128Mb of DDR SDRAM capable of powering an external 30 inch Apple Cinema Display. It can be upgraded to 2GB of RAM and has both 400 and 800 Firewire and two USB 2.0 ports.
I have seen this powerbook's screen and it's gorgeous! It's extremely crisp and easy on the eyes, especially if you had to work at the pixel level for extended periods of time.
