Why is this so jaggy when I rastorized the type at 300 dpi? I don't get it. I've seen this before but then the printing press printed it fine. Wondering if they did something to it in between that I wasn't told about.
(I know the dreaded shaded and beveled logo be warned)
Illlustrator 9.something. I don't work much in it but need to get this old logo to work.

Does it look smoother at a different screen zoom? sometimes odd numbered screen zooms like 33.3% look jaggy and even numbered zooms like 200% look smoother.
Does it jag when you send it to a laser printer?

Yup still looks jagged at even %'s and the laser printer isn't connected to system X but the desktop Epson prints it out smooth and in Preview looks great. I guess I am just being paranoid with a new offset Printer, they only have a Epson proofs and no Matchprint quality proofs to go by and I didn't know if I could trust that given my screen looks like crud.
