.jpg to .mov

I was watching one of Terry White's podcasts where he made a slideshow. I need to do that in Encore CS3 but he said that each image is a chapter and Encore limits to 99 chapters. He said the work around is to make them a .mov file. I assume I can do this as I have CS3 Master but I don't know how. Help please.

in after effects, you can create slideshow with transition and then save and open it in encore
