How to edit snippets

I've created several handouts for a client, and I created a snippet for her business name and address at the top of each form. She has changed her address and I need to change the snippet (I'm assuming I need to make the change to the snippet once and the change will appear on all of the forms.) I cannot, for the life of me, open the snippet in order to change it. It won't open in InDesign. Can anyone help??

Arrgghh nooooo... what you wanted to do was a data merge! Not a snippet... I know we all make that mistake...
