Can I take an existing pdf, put it into readers spreads and save it? Copy center prefers to receive files this way and I'd like to do it without going back to the source layout program and move pages around. Do I need a plug-in?
Thanks, Christy
i'm not acrobat expert but i once had the same thing happen to me - my printer sent the file back asking for me to removed the spread option - i had to go back to i/design and export again without spreads
that's the only option i know of - maybe one of the other guys knows of another way
good luck

At a time when a laser printer costs as much as a small print run I think a copyshop should have an imosition software, as I'd expect a carpenter to have his own hammer n saw if he came to work for me ;P.
The easiest most flexible way for copyshops and printers is to get the pages on up in reading order and impose using either a plug-in (eg quite-imposing) or a special software (like preps). without special software you would probably do best to re-fry i indesign (paste the PDF files in an indesign document and then export as needed)
