RAW file will not save in Photoshop CS2

I'm used to opening a RAW file from Photo Mechanic into CS2, doing some tweaking then saving a copy of the file. All of a sudden I'm unable to save, on my G4 laptop (running Tiger), I'm getting the Rainbow Pinwheel of eternal twirling.

The file I opened is on a DVD, my intention is to save it to the hard drive but the program doesn't give me that option, just twirls and twirls.

Any ideas?

Try and open the file from your desktop straight into PSCS2 ACR then PSCS2 for your ajustments, and then use save as........and save to the desk top
