Welcome! Your title is interesting - was it hard switching from PC to a MAC? Costly to switch the software?

A lot of the expense can be alleviated by doing cross-platform upgrades. Most big software companies will do this.... I have done this with Adobe and Macromedia before they were bought.... Mac is the only way to go for me switched 7 years ago and have not looked back except to watch people in the dust....
