I am assuming Layers Magazine downsized the tutorial database when they switched over to the new format.
If this isn't the case, is there a way to find the rest of the tutorials? There was one that I remember seeing, but now can't. Can we expect there to be less tutorials now, or will it be switching to a subscriber only database (which is just fine with me)?
Hopefully someone can shed some light on this. Thanks!

Hi Photogrrl10,
All the tutorials should still be there. There's a category box along the right side of the home page, which should at least get you to the right application.
See attached.

I could have sworn there were more tutotorials than what is on there. all I am seeing is a handful from each. e.g. 10 tutorials for photoshop, 10 for illustrator, etc. etc.
I remember there being much more than that on the old site....unless I am just delusional.
Also, will the IT tutorials be moved over to Layers at the end of the year? I know some have already been moved over, but I don't see all of them. That would be nice for those of us who paid for IT after that site goes down.

Hi Photogrrl10,
There are 10 pages of Photoshop tutorials (95 in all), and 7 pages for Illustrator (62). All the tutorials I wrote are still there.
I have no idea what will be happening with the content at Illustrator Techniques. You should probably contact the people at IT or Layers directly.

I don't see where the additional pages are (i.e. how to move to the second, third, etc. pages of the tutorial section.). Maybe my browser is glitching up, but it isn't reading an error on the page. Do we have to be signed in to the site? I must be missing something.

Hi Repro,
Thanks for answering.
I'm out in the middle of Pennsylvania someplace training so I haven't been checking in.
Have a great holiday!

yup..I don't have that on my computer too. :-( Makes my work day less exciting when I have spare time to kill. Maybe there is a better way Layers can list those page numbers? It is odd they aren't coming up on some people's computers.

that is very strange, just checked in every browser that i have, including on my PC, and everyone showed that box at the bottom. maybe you guys (mountainman and Photogrrl10) could post what web browser (ie; Safari, Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.) you are using? don't know how much that would help though... javascript enabled? i noticed a lot of javascript on that page.

I have firefox now and I found the tutorials about half way down on the right hand side. So it probably isn't firefox that isn't seeing it.
