I am understanding the basics of page numbering however I am not sure how or if it is possible to make a reference to a page that will automatically change if I move pages around. For example, in my workbook on page 58, it says:
Read the following articles in the Resource Materials section of the workbook:
Influence Behaviors,” page 107
Well what happens if the article is moved it to page..let's say Page 110? Is there some way that I have ID automatically change that page number much like updating a table of contents so that on Page 58 it will change from 107 to 110?

There is a plugin available to do that for you. It was mentioned on an episode of InDesign Secrets. I will look for the link at home and post it.

The podcast is InDesign Secrets (http://indesignsecrets.com/indesignsecrets-podcast-065.php). That is a link directly to the plugin episode as there is lots of other neat plugins, some free. Listen to it for all of the stuff. Also subscribe for the future for other neat InDesign tips.
For a list of plugins for InDesign check out the Adobe Website (http://www.adobe.com/products/plugins/indesign/).
The specific one I was refereing to was Cross References (http://www.dtptools.com/product.asp?id=crin&more=features) from DTP tools (http://www.dtptools.com/). It is not free but it would save you many hours of work in the year. I just listened to it again to make sure. They talk about it at about 14 min.

I love the idea of this plugin. Is that the one based on hyperlinks? I can't remember.
However, I have about 30 books that are quite lenghty that need many many cross-references. At the moment I am cranking out the books to outside sources to change references etc. Someday I will get around to making them all cross references, 1 book at a time. Sigh.
