shortcut keyboard's question

I am working on several books simultaneously, and I want to know I can make shortcut to toggle & swich from book to book, or a shortcut to bring the book's palette to front of all palettes , at least.

Is there's a way/option to organize a find command in the dialouge box of the shortcus, between all the commands.

I don't think there is a shortcut for what you want. But if you use OSX, you can use the Exposé function. If you have multiple windows open, use F9, this will show you all of them at the same time, just click the one you want to activate it.

And no, there is no search function in the keyboard shortcuts edit dialog box. It would be, indeed, a good thing to have. While waiting for it, you can click on the "Show set" button : it will bring the list in TextEdit where you can use the search function.
