Help making menus

I try to make menus with use of layers. I want the menus in the second level pop up when your mouse-click in the first-level menu. In IE everything works fine, but in Opera the actions don’t work. The menu in the second level pop up, but it don’t disappear when the mouse exit the layer. It also freeze (they don’t work) the Rollovers in the image in the second level. Why?

I use action ShowHide on the button in the first level and ShowHide with Mouse Enter and Mouse Exit on the layer in the second level.
Is it another way to do it?

Please help! I want the site out before Christmas.
