I'm upgrading from OS 9.1 to 10.4 and, as required, have purchased all new software. I'm a registered user of Mask Pro but, before upgrading, I thought I'd see if there is a compelling reason to switch to Fluid Mask (or other masking software).
Thanks in advance.

Hi cloudripper,
I have been using Fluid Mask (http://www.plugsnpixels.com/fluidmask.html) but also have Mask Pro on hand. I just tried three times to install Mask Pro to test it for you but it's not installing properly into PS CS2/OS-X (I'm getting the Read Me's but no plugin). It's old (3.0.1); new owner onOne will be updating it sometime soon.
Since you're already registered you might get the best deal by waiting for the onOne version. On the other hand, Fluid Mask is the state-of-the-art right now.

I just posted issue #4 of my free ezine, which deals with terrain-generating apps and chromakeying plug-ins, which may help your masking needs.
