I have guides set up on a layer. But when I go to another layer, the guides are not there. I end up having to recreate them or copy and paste them on the new layer (of course they don't line up exactly perfect).
Please tell me there is a way to allow the guides that you create to be visible on all layers.
Thanks!!

they should be visible until you hide the layer. You can also turn guides into objects. and command-Option-Semi will "release" guides allowing you to move them again. then you can also cut copy and paste them. and Option 5 will make an object into a guide. and command-option-5 will turn the guide back into an object.

Guides don't have to be on the same layer as the paths that you want to create, so just keep that 'guides layer' visible and you should be fine.
