I'm working on a huge project of 2 spot colors, with transperancy & gradients. Is there's a problem to product colors made by the group mixed ink (like overprint) involved with transperancy? My job will RIP on SCITEX DOLEV 800 PS L2/ BRISQUE 4 and I'm worry about it. I need a help and tips about problems with this rip & a job of combination of spot colors & transperancy. Is there's a problem to combine overprint's colors (made by INDESINE'S NEW MIX INK GROUP or by OVERPRINT) or gradients & transperancy (like: drop shadow, feather, & etc.)
(I read in the book of David Blatner that It can make some problems),
Can I add a drop shadow or feather to an element which has a overprint or mix colors fill or stroke direct to it, or I have to put the element with one spot color or gradient without transperancy on the other element with the other spot color & transperancy. Is it a solvable problem that the act of turn on the overprint option for colors other than black can solve or not? Is the problem with such a job is that this job obliging to do PS & DISTILLNG the file instead of just export it to PDF 1.3
Doe's the right way to create combined colors is by activation the multiply blending mode? Is there's a trapping problems? I know It's the press (prepress) job , not mine. thanking you in advance ! zap
