OH These White Lines!

Hi all,

I face numerous problems with these white lines. Any other corrective measure than mentioned in this webpage? I tried even exporting it to Acrobat 5.0/PDF1.4, but did not work for me. I can't tell my client to switch off the smoothening in the acrobat preferences or supply a CMYK PDF instead of Spot colors. These white lines can be seen in some particular view (zooming percentage) alone, in some views it doesn't show. I use Indesign CS. Help Please!

You could force the entire thing to rasterize:

Create a Photoshop image that is just a blank white document (any resolution, any size.) In InDesign, place the white Photoshop image on top of the design. Stretch it to cover all the "trouble spots". Next, set the image to Multiply so your design shows through. Now, the entire thing will flatten as 1 image, avoiding the white lines.
