For the LIFE of me I can not get rid of the slices I made in my Illustrator file. I try using the slice selection tool.. it won't select slices (it actually selects objects (!!??). I try to use OBJECT>SLICE>DELETE ALL .. nothing gets deleted.
There HAS TO BE a way to get rid of these slices.
PLease help.. this problem has haunted me for a LONG time and I want to overcome it once and for all
Thanks

Don't worry it's really not that hard. It's easiest with the Selection tool. The black arrow, the one that is selected when typing V.
Click on the last slice or any slice. Click on the outline rectangle of the slice, not on the number, or any other little icon in the slice, just click on the edges of any of the slices. The slice should light-up or look highlighted. When it does just hit the Delete key. It will delete. If you click on a slice's edge and it doesn't highlight just click on any slice's edge until one highlights. delete whatever gets highlighted and just keep going this way until they are all gone. It will help to lock the picture as sometimes the picture itself keeps getting selected instead of a slice.

That did it. Thank you.
IMO I don't think the SLICE tool should be able to select other objects.
In addition, while we're at it... why is that when I slice just ONE object, several other auxillary inactive slices are created also? Not only that, they are created a good 4 inches to the left of the artboard, which is bizzare because there are no objects outside the artboard..?
