fading a pic

Hi,

I have swf that is doing what I want except I would really like to start with a faded pic and have it come into focus.
This is what I have :

How can I start with a faded pic that comes into focas as it gets into place ?
I know I could probably start with a pic that is already a bit opaque, but any way I can do this with flash without have 2 pics (the faded one and the orignal one ) that tween together ?

You need to have the image as a symbol. So at the first frame convert it to a symbol and in the properties change the color to ALPHA and set to zero.

Select a few frames up and insert a key frame, then create your motion tween. On your last frame change the color>Alpha up to 100.

Then your image should fade into the picture just fine.
