Video Help -VOB

Hello...I have a dvd of a sporting event that I would like to pull clips from and import them into Premier Pro....the files on the dvd are .VOB and the one I want to pull about 4 minutes from is about 45 minutes long (about 7 gigs). What is the best way to pull the clip off the dvd, convert it and import into Premier Pro. Do I need other software?

you might want to try Handbrake

http://handbrake.fr/

it should rip it to a format that will be usable for other programs.
