Replace Tools

I really want to replace the star tool with a perfect pentagram. Does anyone know how, if it is possible, to replace these shape tools (and make a new tool)?

The easiest way to create a pentgram (5-sided star with a pentagon at its center, right?) is to hold the ctrl + alt keys as you drag the star (cmd + option on the mac). This creates an upright perfect star.

Then, you have to go behind and create the lines for the pentagon in the center, just snap to the intersection points on the star. (View: Smart Guides will help with your alignment)

Yeah...I would suggest the same...
Replacing a tool is not so easy...

Select the STAR tool / Click once on the artboard and enter the values to create a star with the defined parameters - remember the inner radius value / then select the POLYGON tool and click once on the artboard - enter the same size as the star's inner radius / Then with snapping turned on align one anchor point and rotate another to the next one...

Thanks guys for the help. I know how to make pentagram. What i really want to know how to do is replace a tool. I know it's possible but I haven't met anyone who can show me how yet.
