Pathfinder issue

Has anyone experianced a issue with Pathfinder filters that when I have a curved, oval or free formed shapes and try to Unite, Intersect, Combine etc, It Unexpectedly Quits?

Squares are fine, Circles quits.

Anyone, Beuller?

This will be covered in Issue 4 of the newsletter.

Essentially, hide the Appearance palette before using Pathfinder tools.

It's an Intel-Mac and CS2 issue.
