Is it possible to make a pattern brush to do round dots? I want to apply my dotted lines to a circle, and while it is almost right, at the 12, 3, 6, 9 o'clock positions the dots are just a tad too close together.

Is there a dotted line method I'm missing? Google has yielded the question but no good answers.

Thanks!

Never mind - if I use the first three tiles in the brush it's perfect.

I experimented a little.

I made a dot (held shift down while making a circle).

Then I dragged the dot to my brush pallet.

Selected pattern brush and left every thing else the same.

Drew another circle and applied the new brush I made.

Then, with the circle that I just drew still selected, I clicked on the button at the bottom of the brushes pallet that says (Options of Selected Object). It looks like a brush with two lines that have sliders next to it.

I messed around with the scale, spacing, and fit options.

You can then mess around with the rotation angle of the circle.

I hope this helps you.
