View Full Version : Persistent Graphic Styles...
I have a a few Graphic Styles that I want to be available whenever I open Illustrator but I don't have the Persistent option in the Graphic Styles option fly-out menu. It is there whenever I open one of the supplied graphic style libraries, just not on mine. And I do have them saved in the Graphic Styles folder in Illustrator. TIA!!!

Save them in your illustrator startup file. It should be in your plug-in folder insde the application folder.

Just to clarify:
Persistant is not an option on the Main Graphics Style menu. You must open a new floating palette of the graphics styles you have saved in order to choose them to be persistant.
So, if you are doing this, are you saying that persistant is not even an option or that it is grayed out?
You may also be doing this, but for the benefit of over information:
To save a Graphic Style Library (All styles in your main Graphics Styles Palette), Click on the Graphic Styles Fly-out menu and choose Save Graphic Styles Library... Name it and save.
To open it in its own window, Click on the Graphic Styles Fly-out menu and choose Open Graphic Styles Library>Other Library. Find your newly saved file and open it. You should be able to choose persistant oafter that.
Once you close Illustrator and re-open it, your new Graphic Style Library should show up in the "Open Graphic Styles Library" list.
