Guys, i've looked a lot of places and just bought The Little Book of Logo Recipes.
I need, or was wondering, if anyone has any ideas or resources regarding that. Also, I am trying to create a design community where we can ehlp eachoter out over at songsblog.com. Thanks!

David E. Carter has produced a number of books that contain collections of logos from many different companies. Titles include "The Big Book of Logos," "The Big Book for Design Ideas," etc. These are great for inspiration.
As for creating an actual logo, the logo needs to be appropriate for the client organization and needs to be easily recognized. In addition, it needs to be able to be used in a number of different applications... for instance, it needs to be scalable to it can be used on a business card and the same logo needs to be able to be used on exterior signage - consistency is key.
Just my two cents ;-). Good luck!
