Hello,
I am wanting to sign my name in illustrator. But when using the pencil or paintbrush tool it sometimes rubs out some of the letters I've just written. Is there a way to lock it so the line continues without being interrupted. It's like the line i'm drawing is following me. Hope you know what I mean!

Just figured it out. For anyone else who gets stuck on this(or maybe just me!) you just double click on the pencil and deselect edit selected path.
